Sharing God’s Good News

in Auburn

In March of 2016 we opened our doors to welcome all visitors and serve south Auburn.

We held a “Grand Welcoming” in June; and have been welcoming visitors ever since.

Jesus is the center of our lives and activities; we’d love to share Him with you, too.

Our Leaders

The leadership here at Church of Auburn are men and women who love, care, and pray for
every one in the church.

  • Rod MacArthur  - Main Speaker (206.949.0325)

Rod married Linda in 1970, the same year he started preaching in small churches in eastern Washington and western Idaho. They moved to Auburn in 2000. He preaches, teaches, and does pastoral counseling; while she teaches and helps in the counselling. What a team!

Our Beliefs

We are a Bible-based church. We love and teach the story of Jesus. You will hear His name often. He is the most important truth, period. Through Him we have freedom!

That we can know and experience Jesus is proof of God’s love for us. The gospel is more than a message that needs to be shared with non-Christians, it is also the life-blood of every Christian. Mature Christians strive to move deeper into the life-story of Jesus. It is the lens through which we view God, our ministry, and all aspects of life.

The meaning of “gospel” is concisely presented in 1 Cor. 15:3–5,
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received,
that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
and that He was buried,
and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.”

Simply put, the gospel is the love story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. It tells us how God gives new life to any one who will call upon His name.
